History of Advertising
Inspired by an attempt to research the origins of advertising that turned up the same handful of acts with few clear sources, I got into a bit of digging myself. One thing led to another, and ... I went full Ravenclaw on the topic. Soon enough I had a path linking culture and advertising trends that dated back to ancient times.
I chopped it up into three parts and trimmed it down considerably. Designer Daniel Alfonzo took that frame and designed an infographic around it.

A Song of Ice and Fire ... and Marketing
As a rabid consumer of culture, I delight in finding links between my favorite distractions and the marketing world. One such recent effort involved the creation of campaigns for the various contenders to the Westeros throne. This was published in the lead-up to the season six finale, which destroyed a certain amount of the predictions, but it was a delightful exercise anyway.
